WHO is the downtown goldsboro merchants association?
The Downtown Goldsboro Merchants Association is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization made up individuals who own, operate or are duly nominated representatives of businesses, non-profit groups, or other approved community organizations having ties to, or operating within the Municipal Service District (MSD).
Our Mission: Downtown Goldsboro Merchants Association is a collaborative group of local businesses who work to ensure the economic and business success of the downtown area through support and engagement of each other and our partners in the community.
Our Vision: Downtown Goldsboro Merchants’ Association’s vision is to promote continued and sustainable growth of a successful, vibrant and diverse business community, made up of local business owners in the downtown area.
Our Impact: Our organization represents and promotes the interest of our Merchant Members in alignment with our Mission and Vision. All of our activities, events and goals are built around ensuring the continued success of our members. We meet regularly with our partner organizations to ensure that the needs and voices of our members are heard. We spotlight, promote, advertise and are general advocates for Downtown Goldsboro and our Members. We are here to ensure our merchants thrive.
Our Partners: We partner with many organizations in the community, including the City of Goldsboro, Goldsboro Police Department, the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation, the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Wayne Community College Small Business Center, Goldsboro Travel and Tourism, and many more.
